Offering a safe place for a dog in a foster home is one of the most valued positions in rescue. Foster homes are temporary homes that offer a place for a rescued dog to become comfortable and learn to be a great adoptable dog. Foster homes include the whole family and their pets. The foster family will help guide the foster dog by teaching him/her how to become a well-rounded and enjoyable companion for their future forever home. Fostering takes dedication, compassion and love and while sometimes it can be difficult to say good bye when your foster dog finds his/her new forever home, it is also extremely rewarding and heartwarming to know that you saved a life that may have just been a statistic. Shelters are always full and when your foster dog does find his/her new forever home the journey will continue as you give your home and heart all over again to the next homeless dog.
