Even Chance does not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. In most cases, we have already decided on the type of home and owner we want for our dogs. These opinions are based on the temperament tests we perform before accepting the dog into our program and the behaviors the dogs display as they spend time in our homes. Our agency reserves the right to deny acceptance of any dog to an owner who we feel the lifestyle does not match that of the dog. We are in no way judging you or your lifestyle; we simply want to put our dogs in the best living situation possible. We take the decisions we make when it comes to placing one of our dogs in a forever home very seriously. 1. What is your name?
Milkshake!

2. How old are you?
I am 3 1/2 years old.

3. What do you look like?
I am small. I am just under 30 pounds.
I have a little nub instead of a full tail. It wiggles and wags all the time, but never clears a coffee table or slaps you in the face.

4. What do you like to eat?
Absolutely anything. Food is LIFE.

5. What kind of personality do you have?
I am equal parts goofy and snuggly. I love to bounce and play, but I also LOVE to just be with you on the couch.

6. Describe your perfect day
A nice walk in the morning, a little play time in the yard or house, and then a looooong nap on the couch.

7. What is your favorite toy?
I love ALL my toys, especially my soft toys. Lambie is my favorite.

8. Do you know any tricks?
I know the basics: sit, down, stay.

9. What scares you?
Not much scares me. I do get carsick sometimes, but I am getting better at car rides.

10. Do you like cats and dogs?
Nope. Unfortunately, I have been looking for a home for 3 years now, all because of this one requirement. I do need to be an only pet.

11. If you could be anywhere in the world, where would it be?
The couch is a great spot, or following you around the kitchen. If you work from home, I would love to sit in your lap.

12. How is your health?
I am very healthy.

13. How long have you lived in your foster home?
I have lived in a foster home since Even Chance rescued me. My foster family has to move next month, and I have nowhere to go. Our rescue does not have a shelter, and all foster homes are full of other dogs. This is a very urgent situation.

14. Who do you live with in your foster home, and who is your closest companion?
I live with my foster parent, Ferris, and their roommate, Bryan.

15. Where do you hang out when you are home alone?
My crate. I am crate-trained and can stay in my crate for a full workday.

16. Where do you sleep?
I sleep in my crate, on the couch, in my foster human’s bed, or in my dog bed.

17. What was life like before you were rescued by Even Chance?
I was taken by a government agency as part of a dog-fighting investigation. I was in a very inhumane situation, and I am incredibly lucky to have been saved. Now I need to be saved again. Please consider adopting me or spreading the word.
