Director and Vice President
My pack consists of:
Myself, my 3 block-headed Even Chance alums (Shiva, Juice, Birdie), and whatever foster dog I am falling in love with at the time.
My role with EC is:
I help with social media, fundraising and advocacy events, supporting internal/external community needs, writing, being a sounding board for other EC officers, yadda, yadda, yadda…
My paid gig is:
I work in research at a local academic/medical institution.
My strengths are:
I’m thorough, dependable, sensitive to others, and have a strong moral compass. I stand up for what I believe and try to be solution-focused. I think I’m funny; sometimes others do too.
My weaknesses are:
See above. Kidding…Kind of. I’m really introverted and empathetic, so I can get drained and overwhelmed around people easily. Otherwise, weaknesses involve seasoned pretzels, sweet tea, candles, Starbucks, podcasts, audiobooks, and cheese.
If I had any free time, I would:
Go on more adventures with my dogs–I really love vacationing with my dogs in other states!
